Description Danek Duvall 2004-12-18 10:02:37 UTC
I recently installed net-mail/mailbase-0.00-r6, which fixed bug 16749, since it
just went stable on amd64. However, coincident with that, I'm now seeing the following messages:

[Folder vulnerable - directory /var/spool/mail must have 1777 protection]

from pine and

Mailbox vulnerable - directory /var/spool/mail must have 1777 protection

from ipop3d, which is quite obviously a result of the mailbase change. Given that pine and ipop3d share code, it's not surprising that both programs find the same thing wrong.

No functionality seems to be missing or broken, though, just these annoying messages.
