Durus is a object database similar to ZODB from the creators of Quixote Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Created attachment 47202 [details] durus-1.3.ebuild please find attached an ebuild for durus-1.3, it inherits distutils, it wasn't heavily tested, but everything should work.
Created attachment 47203 [details] durus-1.3.ebuild sorry, the version was hardcoded ^_^
I'm using this ebuild, works fine for me (x86/ppc); I urge its inclusion in dev-python.
I put quixote into portage some time ago when I thought I was going to be developing a webapp, but I'm not actually using it these days. As such, there's really nobody maintaining quixote right now, much less durus, dulcinea, or scgi. (My apologies if, in fact, net-www really is supporting scgi.) We really need somebody to become a developer and maintain these packages if they're going to go into portage.
just push it into the portage, and if people start using it, you'll maybe find a maintainer ... sorry, i cannot take this responsability right now, because of real life :s
it doesn't really work this way. not quite sure if python herd can handle this at the moment. leaving this bug open for now.
Should we just close this due to lack of interest? I withdraw my original request.
