I noticed that on musl system that was mounting nfsv4 kerberized directories uid to username resolution was not working properly. That was showing as drwxr-xr-x 1 4294967294 4294967294 1462 May 17 15:40 test uid and gid for the filename instead of appropriate uids. nfsidmap cache was showing right ids: nfsidmap -l 2 .id_resolver keys found: gid:nobody@lan uid:nobody@lan this suggested a problem local to the machine.
