I suggest that `emerge --info` (profiles/info_pkgs (https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/tree/profiles/info_pkgs)) be extended with: 1. Main parts of LLVM toolchain: sys-devel/clang sys-devel/lld sys-devel/llvm (sys-devel/gcc and sys-devel/binutils are already in this list.) 2. dev-util/meson (sys-devel/autoconf, sys-devel/automake and dev-util/cmake are already in this list.) 3. sys-apps/systemd (sys-apps/openrc is already in this list.)
second this. I'd also throw rust in there. because it's painful to request rust info from bug reporters for rust-compiled packages EVERY time. I need to know which rust version and if it used system-llvm or not. I've suggested this in 2018 already and it was not met with a lot of enthusiasm. https://archives.gentoo.org/gentoo-dev/message/3abbaa621ce249f91522d9876c5a0430
