This version added support to trim all but the latest GCC runtime from the initramfs for those of us that have many copies of GCC installed. Been using since March 2020 with no adverse affects. Reproducible: Always
I would like to fix the following bugs first: bug #714838 - already has a PR bug #724474 - waiting for upstream (not a regression, so not actually blocking stabilization)
I think we can proceed with stabilizing 050-r1. This bug also blocks bug #719844
yes, please. I just found that 049 is broken in that it fails to assemble any LVM and MDRAID devices. Just won't do it, no matter what you do to the config. Been futzing around with it for hours because I found no indication that it's broken in this way. Finally decided to upgrade to 050, which fixed it right away.
ping. @chutzpah, floppym: are you going to CC arches?
It would be better to stabilize 050-r2 at this point.
(In reply to Alexander Tsoy from comment #5) > It would be better to stabilize 050-r2 at this point. I'll add CC-ARCHES if no objections...?
