Description Mike Lothian 2020-06-18 11:21:16 UTC
Jun 18 12:12:27 axion sddm-helper[537]: PAM unable to dlopen(/lib64/security/pam_tally.so): /lib64/security/pam_tally.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Jun 18 12:12:27 axion sddm-helper[537]: PAM adding faulty module: /lib64/security/pam_tally.so

I'm guessing something has changed to remove this, I'm not sure what

It stopped my Plasma 5 session starting

Removing the pam_tally line from /etc/pam.d/sddm-autologin go my session started

I've no idea what that actually does or what package pam_tally was apart of

Reproducible: Always

Should be fixed now if you resync and update; sddm has new restriction on pam.
