Description Pierre-Yves Bonnetain-Nesterenko 2020-06-15 09:12:10 UTC
The current latexextra-2020 ebuild installs version 6.0 of the import package. This version and the next has some bugs that make them almost unusable with texlive-2020.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. See MWE attached.
2. Compile it with pdflatex (from texlive-2020)

Actual Results:
This is pdfTeX, Version 3.14159265-2.6-1.40.21 (TeX Live 2020 Gentoo Linux) (preloaded format=pdflatex)
 restricted \write18 enabled.

I corrected the (previously changed) title of the bug. The error is *not* « 'import.sty' not found », even if it is the error in the given example.

The error is « when some imported file is not found, the name of the *last* properly found and imported file is displayed instead in the error message ».
