About time he gets CVS write access:) After discussions in the Java team, we decided that I should take him on as a mentee, starting tomorrow (22 Nov 2004) and onwards for two weeks, should recruiters have no objections.
The ebuild quiz has been sent to recruiters@gentoo.org, and it looks fine. From talking to spyderous, the mentee needs to take a bash quiz as well. Can somebody please mail this to him ASAP? The entire Java team wants this guy set up and in a productive state quickly, if possible:)

Saleem mailed retirement@ today. It turns out he doesn't have a working Gentoo machine at the moment and doesn't plan to have one in any foreseeable future so he has no means to continue contributing to Gentoo and would like to be retired. Infra, please process his retirement.
