Hello, You might know me from such ebuilds as: spyder-* (and some dependencies) in the main gentoo repository, and vidify (and dependencies) in the GURU overlay. I'd very much like to help make the GURU overlay a huge success in the role of a Trusted Contributor. As a regular contributor I've noticed that it takes quite some time for commits to make it from the dev branch to master (master is now almost 2 months behind dev). As a Trusted Contributor I'd like to help speed up this process by checking, reviewing an if necessary fixing new commits in the dev branch weekly or biweekly. And thus making the GURU overlay a more rewarding and interactive experience for all contributors. I've already been checking the commits that are currently in the dev branch from other contributors. Where I found issues, I've contacted the original committers and together we have been fixing and improving some of the ebuilds. I found this to be an interesting and rewarding experience, and I would like to continue doing this as a Trusted Contributor. Some of the ebuilds that I'm proxy-maintaining in the main repo spyder-*, pwaeve, qtawesome, pytest-qt, python-jsonrpc-server, python-language-server, libsass, wurlitzer, qtsass, python-lazy-fixture, pydocstyle, qdarkstyle, helpdev And some of the ebuilds that I'm maintaining in GURU: vidify-*, tekore, spotipy, python-mpv, python-vlc, sphinxcontrib-trio, pytest-subtests, timeout-decorator, sniffio, stdio-mgr, sphinx-autodoc-typehints, pydbus, sphobjinv, lyricwikia, curio, httpx Please let me know what you think of my contributions to the GURU overlay, and if these contributions are sufficient to become a Trusted Contributor.
Thank you for your contributions. I've just added you to the trusted contributors. Keep on reviewing and welcome in the team. :)
