Ebuild for the newest and greatest Mono release. (old release in portage is mono-0.13) Changes to the old ebuild: * build against boehm-gc, as the official rpms do too (for quite some time). With the new boehm-gc 6.1alpha5, garbage collection in Mono seems to actually work. * install a missing doc file which was forgotten by the old ebuild. Cheers, Andreas Simon Btw, a ebuild for boehm-gc 6.1alpha5 was also posted by me. This is required for this ebuild.

I forgot to mention an other change I made in respect to the 0.13 ebuild: I added a description which is a little bit more verbose then the old one.
I just read that DESCRIPTION should be a short, one line description of the package. Thus I think the one in the ebuild is too long and should be better replaced with something like: DESCRIPTION="Mono runtime, an open source version of the Microsoft .NET runtime."
