After almost a year in which nothing happened in the upstream development of davfs, there is a new version 0.2.3. The ChangeLog reads as following: 2004-11-01 Robert Spier * Seems like a good time for 0.2.3 * Changes in the past 11 months include... * PID file handling changes * some support for Coda v2 * changes to debugging support * kernel 2.6 support * fix for working with Apache 1.x * fix cmd line options so it can be put in standard fstab (mount.c r1.20) * fix for password echoing I didn't fully test it yet, but it _seems_ like it fixes the issues with 2.6 series Kernel as described in Bug #62502 It also fixes the security issues as described in Bug #69149

Rather cosmetic fix: The einfo should read einfo "You need to have coda compiled into your kernel" einfo "in order to use davfs2" instead of einfo "Remember you have to have coda compiled in to your kernel" einfo "in order to use davfs2"
