Description Dennis Moehlmann 2004-11-09 12:29:07 UTC
The Nautilus-ebuild depends on fam. Since gamin, a per-user version of fam was introduced, the ebuild should probably be using something like virtual/fam instead of app-admin/fam(?) to prevent blocking.
In any case, I've added what an emerge -puD world gives me after having switched to gamin (fam is not merged - only gamin is).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
0. (emerge gnome)
1. emerge unmerge fam
2. emerge gamin
3. emerge -puD [--tree] world

Actual Results:
root, root/ # emerge -puD --tree world

These are the packages that I would merge, in reverse order:

I suggest reading http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69549#c2 and removing this from duplicates. Nautilus does not indirectly depend of fam through gnome-vfs but directly requires it.

On a sidenote, I did search before reporting this bug. I did read the bugreport form. Please don't expect everyone to have the same overview about the bugzilla db as you might have.
