Description Daniel Pixley 2004-11-08 17:30:39 UTC
Thunderbird 0.8 does not add new entries added to LDAP Directories. I enter in information for the fields "Name", "Hostname", and "Base DN" fields, and click the "Ok" button. The LDAP directory is not added to the Address Books.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go into Address Book
2. Click File -> New -> LDAP Directory
3. Enter info into fields.
4. Click Ok.

I have also tried going through Account Settings in Thunderbird, under Composition and Addressing, and adding the LDAP Directory there. The same results were the same.

Actual Results:
The Directory Server Properties dialog closes as if the directory was added, but
no LDAP directory appears under Address Books.

Expected Results:
An LDAP Directory should have been added to Address books.

I have tested this on Gentoo Linux 2.6.7-gentoo-r11; Thunderbird 0.8 only.
