Chris?
should I take it? ;-)
Don't ask and commit. ;p (0.9.0 final is the current version, changing the summary).
ok, reassigning to me. I have some other ebuilds in my queue first, but after this long time, it doesn't matter if it takes a few days further... *g*

Any news about this bug? It's been quite a while since the eMovix 0.9.0 release...
Please consider upgrading to 0.9.0 since it breaks support for emovix in k3b-1.0: # strace -f k3b [...] [pid 7096] lstat("/usr/bin//isolinux/kernel/vmlinuz", <unfinished ...> [pid 7101] read(11, <unfinished ...> [pid 7096] <... lstat resumed> 0x7fffca696f00) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or dir ectory) [pid 7096] stat("/usr/bin//isolinux/kernel/vmlinuz", 0x7fffca696d00) = -1 ENOEN T (No such file or directory) [pid 7096] write(2, "k3b: ERROR: (KFileItem) lstat fa"..., 78k3b: ERROR: (KFile Item) lstat failed: Aucun fichier ou répertoire de ce type ) = 78 [pid 7096] lstat("/usr/bin//isolinux/isolinux.bin", 0x7fffca696e90) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory) [...] [pid 7096] stat("/usr/bin//movix/lircrc.abit", 0x7fffca696d00) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory) [pid 7096] write(2, "k3b: ERROR: (KFileItem) lstat fa"..., 78k3b: ERROR: (KFile Item) lstat failed: Aucun fichier ou répertoire de ce type ) = 78 [pid 7096] lstat("/usr/bin//movix/movix-files", 0x7fffca696f00) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory) [pid 7096] stat("/usr/bin//movix/movix-files", 0x7fffca696d00) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory) [pid 7096] write(2, "k3b: ERROR: (KFileItem) lstat fa"..., 78k3b: ERROR: (KFile Item) lstat failed: Aucun fichier ou répertoire de ce type ) = 78 [pid 7096] open("/usr/bin/boot-messages/fr", O_RDONLY|O_NONBLOCK|O_DIRECTORY) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory) [...] k3b-1.0 does not look anymore for movix files in /usr/share/emovix/ but only in /usr/bin/ Looking at k3b bug report: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=120457 It is stated that emovix rc releases are no more supported. Just doing: cp emovix-0.9.0_pre1.ebuild emovix-0.9.0.ebuild to upgrade to the latest version of emovix and now k3b-1.0 is running fine
(In reply to comment #7) > Just doing: > cp emovix-0.9.0_pre1.ebuild emovix-0.9.0.ebuild to upgrade to the latest > version of emovix and now k3b-1.0 is running fine > I can confirm this on amd64. Please, hurry up with this guy because emovix is a dependency for k3b, one of the most used programs in desktop linux.
