Created attachment 589088 [details, diff] Patch for virtual/notification-daemon to add gui-apps/mako Apply the attached patch, please. That way virtual/notification-daemon doesn't install another notification daemon while gui-apps/mako is installed.
Please merge! I can't install anything that supports notifications because it will pull in some junk notification daemon, when I already have one installed :(
I am unsure if it should be behind a wayland USE flag... as, otherwise, people not running wayland would get non working notifications, right? :/
For now I'm going to include it in the non-gnome/kde list, we'll make a wayland flag for the package if needed.
