gcc-9 will eventually stabilize. Current stable needed a gcc-9 fix (bug #686048). 

WDYT of stabilizing =dev-lang/yap/6.3.3-r1? (Or applying the fix to current stable).

Stabilizing 6.3.3-r1 makes sense. I'll add the approapriate arches.
