Description Emiliano 2004-10-26 09:31:56 UTC
I have a lan, with 15 clients and a server. It's built with distcc. Why don't you include the feature --binremote (for example) in order to allow the client to create his own binary and to store in the server? It's like PORTAGE_BINHOST. I hope that you can understand my request. Thanks for all. Gentoo rulez.

This should be straightforward to do by NFS mounting your packages directory.

Jason's solution above would work for what you're after... beyond that, it's more of an enterprise portage request.
