It would be really nice to have an option that will have portage continue emerging packages even after a package build-failure while using the update option. This way, when a package fails during emerge world -u, it doesnt stop updating all the packages that would not fail. It should reverse all builds of the deps and/or the mother package wherever failure occurs and log the problem of the build for later reference. Then continue updating the next package. List the errors and successes at the end of the update. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
