IMHO the misleading double meaning of the "srt" USE flag should be cleaned up:

# equery u media-video/ogmrip
[...]
 - - srt         : Support for SRT subtitle format
[...]

vs.

# equery u media-video/vlc
[...]
 - - srt                  : Enable support for Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) via net-libs/srt
[...]

(the same for media-video/ffmpeg)
