Description Tavis Ormandy (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-10-23 04:12:51 UTC
I just noticed that the mutt ebuild prints the following message if the slang USE flag is set:

"If you want a transparent background, please merge mutt with USE=-slang."

Out of curiosity, I decided to try it to see what happens, but it works fine here. Am I correct that by transparent, it means what ncurses calls default colours? default_colors(3x) eg, http://dev.gentoo.org/~taviso/slang.png

I just set the colour of the object I wanted to be transparent to "default", for example:

color error brightred default
color status yellow blue
color tree magenta default
etc.
