New version of Cedega (formerly WineX) is out, bumping the version number on the ebuild seemed to work fine for me (copying cedega-4.0.1.ebuild to cedega-4.1.ebuild and unmasking it), emerged, ran Steam for the first time in weeks and it updated itself and ran fine (although I'm at work so I didn't fire any games up). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Ok, I got home, uninstalled all my Cedega and Steam apps to start fresh (my current cedega install was kinda screwy), bumped the previous cedega ebuild, emerged, ran the steam installer then used it to install halflife and counterstrike and I just got done playing a few rounds of counter strike. Didn't run into any problems.
Oh, I forgot to mention that I had to use the commandline argument "-use-pthreads no" like the cedega executable warns you when you run it without it.
Running great here. I also need "-use-pthreads no", but that's just a configuration issue I'm too lazy to look into.
version bumped in cvs, thanks
