Description viktor 2004-10-16 19:14:30 UTC
When running revdep-rebuild, it fails with the following:

--- cut here ---
...
Assigning files to ebuilds.../usr/bin/revdep-rebuild: line 252: /bin/fgrep: Argument list too long
 done.
  (/root/.revdep-rebuild.4_ebuilds)

Evaluating package order... done.
  (/root/.revdep-rebuild.5_order)

Dynamic linking on your system is consistent... All done.
--- cut here ---

As you can see, it ends with 'All done', so it thinks all jobs are done fine, this is an other bug, I saw some other bugreport here with this subject. It also deletes all /root/.revdep-rebuild.* files, so all results of half an hour hard disk-scratching are lost.

Version of app-portage/gentoolkit is 0.2.0_pre9 (latest in my portage tree, about one week old).
