This looks pretty unmaintained upstream. Maybe it is time to drop the openssl option and only provide gnutls here? net-im/pidgin[gadu] seems to explicitly want gnutls (or no ssl at all) already, anyway.

openssl-1.0 is about to be removed. Please make a decision (dropping openssl option).
