Description Hector E. Gomez Morales 2004-10-12 15:40:03 UTC
When I try to run hald initscript or hald directly it segments faults when starting. Here is the error:

Segmentation fault

The 0000:02:0b.0 device where HAL dies is integrated wireless card:

0000:02:0b.0 Network controller: Intel Corp. PRO/Wireless 2200BG (rev 05)

So I think hal dies because it can't recognize the device because in another laptop with a diferent wireless card (an orinoco one) but almost same build of gentoo hald doesn't segments faults.
