seems they swotched to newer mupdflib
Comment 2 Franz Trischberger 2018-11-21 08:47:32 UTC
Looks like the PR was merged. IMO it should have revbumped the package as there was a dependency change.
In any case this issue can be closed.

What do you mean, this issue can be closed? How will it be resolved?
Comment 4 Franz Trischberger 2018-11-22 14:13:13 UTC
There was a github pull request [1] that got merged into the main portage tree [2] which updates the build requirements of mupdf. It also drops amd64 stable keyword so you probably need to unkeyword it.
Unfortunately my assumption seems to be false - this is not (anymore) in portage. I clicked on the "commit" link from here:
https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/pull/10443#issuecomment-439732494
Which references the main tree and Zlogene closed it 3 days ago. No idea what's happening here...

sorry, but this is pretty waste of time
Comment 6 Mikle Kolyada (RETIRED) archtester Gentoo Infrastructure gentoo-dev Security 2018-11-28 06:49:07 UTC
Should be fixed for stable users as mupdf stabilised
