New gnupod version is available here:

Nothing needed to be changed in the 0.94 ebuild to install 0.96 - I just had to generate a digest for it. The application (Perl scripts, really) worked flawlessly for me.

Just wondering if this bug can be closed due to bug 84526 (which is an ebuild of version 0.96).  And, as a matter of fact, 0.97 is already in portage.  This bug just seems sort of unnecessary now.
