It does not compile, and the reason for that is that the variable ${SV}, which shall denote the Scala version to use, seems to be undefined. As a result, there are the following lines in the patched build.sbt: def commonSettings: Seq[Setting[_]] = Seq( scalaVersion := scala, scalaHome := Some(file("/usr/share/scala-")), and everything fails. The state of installed Scala versions is: $ sudo eselect scala list Available Scala profiles: [1] scala-2.12 *
