Description Akim Boyko 2004-10-05 05:48:55 UTC
new xmms-1.2.10-r6 can't use cyrilic (koi8) encoding in playlist, while xmms-1.2.10-r5 can, so all non-english song names is corrupted. Property tab 'Encoding' has gone too.

the recode patch that allowed that is buggy and no support is provided for it upstream. I've included the unicode patch which has made it in mainline xmms and will be out in 1.2.11, and that is incompatible with the recode patch from http://rusxmms.sf.net. If youu want the recode patch back in, then I suggest heading to those upstream devs and have them fix their bugs... otherwise use unicode.

Sorry...
