Can we stabilise a new version with python3_6 support? python3_6 is being enabled soon for stable users. >=8.0 will work.
This should have been stabilized already... Now it's a mess with 3.6 enabled. Can we stabilize it soon?
As of the python3_6 change this morning, stable gdb is no longer installable. And if gdb is already installed on the system, emerge fails with unresolvable dependencies (gdb -> python3_5). I don't see this as a viable situation. Either 8.1 has to be stabilized or a 7.12 update to support python3_6 is needed.
Let's use something a bit more recent. Arches please test and stabilize if possible: sys-devel/gdb-8.1-r1

Seems my script did not commit it, feel free to, as I prefer keeping toolchain stuff stable everywhere, as it seems compiled fine (or I will once get to the laptop). 2.) I was unable to reproduce any ia64-specific traps, please point me the one and I can try to repeat and see
