Description Harris Landgarten 2018-05-17 17:56:08 UTC
The issue seems to be that s3transfer has transitioned to eapi 7 and paludis does not understand the new python constructs.

I installed with portage and now get these errors in paludis:

    Reasons: target (installed-packages::installed), dev-python/awscli-1.15.10:0::installed

This is a known problem. According to passing upstream remarks, Paludis is not maintained anymore for Gentoo use. If nobody does the work before it becomes unusable, I will lastrite it.
