GNOME 3.28 is  Official Released today .

maybe we should skip 3.26 to 3.28

This is ultimately up to who are going to do the work. Lots of 3.26 is ready in the overlay, so my current thinking is to add that to main tree, get that unmasked into ~arch, work on 3.28, unmask that into ~arch and stabilize 3.28 (skipping 3.26 for stable tree). But who knows how things pan out.

I am inclined to close this bug however, or convert it into the usual gnome release tracker. Should I create a new bug for this, or are you OK with the unescapable spam that will come if I convert this one (as you can't unCC as reporter)

nvm, I did that new bug for clean tracker purposes. so you can unCC that at any time you want, etc.
