Description Alarig Le Lay 2018-02-20 08:58:39 UTC
Hi,

The actual stable munin (2.0.33) in the portage tree is not compatible with python3.

The python3 compatibility has been added upstream since then (on 3 Jun 2017): https://github.com/cgzones/munin/commit/1fda8fb3e58e7fa6333eb8c4fd888e75fa182ed9#diff-929dfde415f1f32f53ac94b09682af2a and the 2.0.34 has been released on 21 Oct 2017.

But, 2.0.34 is marked as ~arch, so the gentoo’s stable munin is still not compatible with python3, and python3 is default interpreter.

So, I’m wondering if it possible to stabilise 2.0.34.

Thanks,

munin 2.0.34 is now stable and munin 2.0.33 has been removed.
