This issue blocks 'emerge -e world'.
Comment 3 Juergen Rose 2018-01-27 13:18:45 UTC
bits/sigset.h was present in glibc-2.25-r9.
Comment 4 Juergen Rose 2018-01-27 13:22:31 UTC
BTW, the current virtualbox is version 5.2.6. Why there is not xf86-video-virtualbox-5.2.6 in the portage tree?

Because it was replaced by x11-drivers/xf86-video-vboxvideo

Thanks for the hint. But it seems me, that xorg-drivers-1.19 does not know a vboxvideo VIDEOCARD. If I define VIDEO_CARDS="virtualbox", 'emerge -uvDN xorg-drivers' wants to emerge xf86-video-virtualbox-5.1.32. If I set VIDEO_CARDS="vboxvideo", 'emerge -uvDN xorg-drivers' does not want to emerge any xf86-video x11-drivers.
Comment 7 email200202 2018-02-03 07:22:02 UTC
Same bug here.
Comment 8 email200202 2018-02-03 07:25:13 UTC
What is the difference between x11-drivers/xf86-video-vboxvideo-1.0.0 and x11-drivers/xf86-video-virtualbox-5.1.32? and why they both are out of sync with vbox version number?
Comment 9 devsk 2018-02-27 23:17:04 UTC
x11-drivers/xf86-video-vboxvideo does not provide the DRI driver. The original xf86-video-virtualbox used to provide that.

Any ideas anyone?
Comment 10 Mats Persson 2018-08-27 14:02:50 UTC
Version 5.1.38 still has this problem. An ugly workaround is to create the missing sigset.h yourself. Like this

 # grep bits/types /usr/include/signal.h >>/usr/include/bits/sigset.h

Then I successfully emerged xf86-video-virtualbox.
Comment 11 Jacob Martin 2018-09-11 00:19:01 UTC
Same issue here with Version 5.1.38. Haven't tried the workaround above in Comment 10.
Comment 12 Lars Wendler (Polynomial-C) gentoo-dev 2018-10-26 09:19:43 UTC
Package is gone.
