Qt4 is dead and going away. I can't find a repository for Qt-based searchmonkey, and the homepage does not mention any new development towards Qt5.
There is a newer Java version of SearchMonkey Version 3.2. It is supposed to run on JRE 1.8 or newer. https://sourceforge.net/projects/searchmonkey/files/jSearchmonkey%20JAVA/v3.2/
