the newest mpalyer now has real media support
(some info here: http://www.mplayerhq.hu/DOCS/codecs.html#realvideo )
and it could use an optional depend on real player
so it can use its codecs
adding some use realplayer or something and having
--with-reallibdir=/opt/RealPlayer8/Codecs
will allow mplayer to use the installed codecs of realplayer
i tested this with just adding that line to the configure line in the mplayer
ebuild and it seems to work fine :)
