Description Mark Guertin 2002-08-12 15:09:06 UTC
sed: Couldn't re-allocate memory

I saw this happen multiple times within the same build, for reference purposed
it was media-sound/xmms-1.2.7-r11 that I noticed whilest stomping another bug :)

I have tried several things, including unset CFLAGS setting RESTRICT="nostrip"
and still have the same problems with it.

I _highly_ suggest that we make this build not replace the current sed, but
install as ssed or the like.

This happened on ppc for both gcc 2.95.x and 3.2_pre boxes.

well, it seems the sed-4.x codebase is built form this, as it exhibits excactly
the same problems.
