Description rojaro 2004-09-11 14:09:44 UTC
I've just cleaned up a little bit and removed a few packages from my machine. So while emerge was removing these packages i saw "cfgpro" scroll by a few times. But the unmerge process produced so many lines that these lines where pushed out of the scrollback buffer of my terminal. So it would be really nice to get a report of these omited/protected files at the end of the unmerging process.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Just unmerge several packages that had created files in /etc ...

Expected Results:
Output a short report containing a list of all files that have been omited
during unmerging of all packages involved in the unmerging process.

Putting a hold on feature requests for portage as they are drowning out the
bugs. Most of these features should be available in the next major version of
portage. But for the time being, they are just drowning out the major bugs and
delaying the next version's progress.

Any bugs that contain patches and any bugs for etc-update or dispatch-conf can
be reopened. Sorry, I'm just not good enough with bugzilla. ;)
