Thank you for the bump request. You can help the maintainer with further information: Does a simple bump [1] work on your system? Chances are high, because a first look on the bump revealed only small changes. [1] https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Custom_repository#Simple_version_bump_of_an_ebuild_in_the_local_overlay
it's https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/pull/5837 tested with these photos: https://www.facebook.com/francesco.riosa/posts/10212136233059636?pnref=story ;)

(In reply to Jonas Stein from comment #3) > There are problems with the bump I've blindly modified the ebuild to follow the QA suggestion, tested a compile and software run. https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/pull/5853 There are 3 commits but only the 3rd one is about QA the previous ones are just pull #5837 from #c2
That is strange, did you both get no QA warnings before, Patrice and Francesco?
just checked media-gfx/rawtherapee-5.3:20171001-200126.log.gz and yes the warnings are in. First time they appeared was 20170925-070243 (-1week..+0week) Missed them, sorry
I think we can close this bug.
