Hello, I just visited xine.sf.net and I noticed kxine and totem, kde and gnome2
versions of xine, they only require xine-libs and they look pretty sexy.

Kxine even has cool features like dragging a movie from the desktop into it.

could we see these in portage?

Totem is already in portage. And kxine is handled in bug #5412.
