As i told on maillist[1] - it is time to close Desktop-effects project This includes specific actions, like: 1) dropping maintainership on packages(list of them available on the link[1]) to maintainer-needed; 2) removing of desktop-effects@g.o alias; 3) removing wiki page; 4) removing desktop-effects overlay; While i can to 1), i obviously do not have rights to do 2-4. Could you drop the project as a maintainer from those packages and send 'up for grabs' mail as appropriate? Afterwards, please ping me to do the rest.

You've missed two packages. I've updated metadata.xml on them and reassigned all the meaningful bugs. The four regarding the overlay I've closed WONTFIX.
The overlay has been removed from the list earlier, so now I've just disabled it on gitolite end. I presume there's no explicit reason to physically wipe the data. In case you ever needed it back, just let us know and we'll either reenable or send you a copy.
Fine by me. Thanks for taking care of bugzilla entries. Not sure how i have missed packages, probably some fault during commit squashing.
Wiki page wiped, and the project seems to have disappeared from the index. The following changes have been made to the user account desktop-effects@gentoo.org: - The login is now desktop-effects+disabled@gentoo.org. - Logging in with this user account has been disabled. - Bugmail has been disabled. - The "login disabled" text has been modified.
