So it seems the problem itself is not git, but the fact that mongo-tools fails to build with libressl?

Tried mongo-tools-3.4.9 with newest spacemonkey/openssl but with no luck. I think we should remove libressl from mongo-tools as it doesn't seem to work...

Just out of curiosity, this bug was opened 2017/03 when blueness added libressl support for mongo-tools, did it work for you back then Anthony?
