The current version is 1.28.0
v1.28.2 is out.
1.29.1 is current please bump!
Thank you for the bump request. You can help the maintainer with further information: Does a simple bump [1] work on your system? Chances are high, because a first look on the bump revealed only small changes. [1] https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Custom_repository#Simple_version_bump_of_an_ebuild_in_the_local_overlay @Maintainer Is there a problem with the bump? How can others help you? There was no reaction in this request for a while. Do you still maintain the ebuild?
This is a relative simple version bump from 1.27.3, yes. At some point it was determined that this tweak was needed with 1.28.0, I have since lost the origin of why/whom. - imagemagick? ( || ( media-gfx/imagemagick media gfx/graphicsmagick[imagemagick] ) ) + imagemagick? ( virtual/imagemagick-tools ) Upstream did change the minimum mysql dependency with 1.30.0; rebuild omits the RDEPEND check. More info https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Release_notes/1.30 1.30.0 is stable 1.28.0 is obsolete 1.27.4 is legacy LTS 1.27.3 is missing security patches. https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Version_lifecycle So yes, I could see an argument for bumping to the latest 1.27.x and 1.30.x packages. Hope this helps.
