The current stable is still using built_with_use. Can we stabilize a newer version? Alternatively, we could dump the whole thing in ~arch and p.u.s.mask the relevant flags on revdeps.
The only non-cjk revdeps are: app-editors/emacs* app-office/magicpoint Maintainers, do you care about m17n-lib at all?

I am using m17n-lib-1.6.4 here (with Emacs) and have not noticed any problems. Just mark that version stable and be done (?).
