Created attachment 454604 [details] build.log The fix in bug 470634 seems not to work, as libtool filters out the "-fuse-ld=bfd" flag when linking. The flag is present in the command line passed to libtool, but libtool does not pass it along to the gcc driver, resulting in: /usr/lib/gcc/armv6j-hardfloat-linux-gnueabi/4.9.4/../../../../armv6j-hardfloat-linux-gnueabi/bin/ld: --default-symver: unknown option /usr/lib/gcc/armv6j-hardfloat-linux-gnueabi/4.9.4/../../../../armv6j-hardfloat-linux-gnueabi/bin/ld: use the --help option for usage information See the attachment for the full build log. # It appears this problem occurs because sys-devel/libtool-2.4.6-r1 was not stabilized at the same time as sys-libs/db-5.3.28-r2.
Stable on alpha.
