Not sure how dead kern-sec is, but it is part of Gentoo Security, so CCing them

I believe the project should stick around though even though it has no special purpose atm, we have just revived auditing, this would be natural thing to revive down the line (but requires special knowledge)

Turns out I've been removing it in the past, and the wiki page was mistakenly kept. Removed now, and asked virtualization project if they're interested in the old guides. > WARN: kern-sec project has no developers! This has been addressed above. So I'm closing this bug.
