Oh no :'( It works very well :'(
Can't we fix this ebuild somehow? I know that nero doesn't get any updates, but still works nicely.
Last time I checked I was also unable to find the distfiles (the rpms to download) Also, there are plenty of alternatives in the tree for recording CDs...
(In reply to Pacho Ramos from comment #3) > Last time I checked I was also unable to find the distfiles (the rpms to > download) > > Also, there are plenty of alternatives in the tree for recording CDs... I reinstalled recently nero : Installed versions: 4.0.0.0b-r1^fmst(21:09:56 28/09/2016)(-doc) It works very well, I wrote an article very recently too on this software. I bought this software and I am happy to use it on a Gentoo derivative. I agree with you when you said "Also, there are plenty of alternatives in the tree for recording CDs...", but K3B (I am on KDE) and cdrecord (cmdline) unable to erase correctly a CD, and K3B doesn't work very well to burn Audio CD for my car. Nero can do that and perfectly !!!
RPM is still available here: http://www.nero.com/enu/downloads/previous-versions/download-linux4-update.php Also, afaik, k3b and brasero don't support bluray out of the box.
Even plain cdrecord supports blueray :|
