When ControlMaster=(yes|auto|...) is used, the multiplexing session is left in the background, still using current working directory. As a side result, this means that e.g. if I run git+ssh in some directory, it gets blocked (busy) for quite a while for no good reason.

Would it be possibly to chdir("/") or alike in the control session, so that it wouldn't be bound to the current working directory unnecessarily?
