build log

kde-apps/libkexiv2-15.12.3 fails to build with 'undefined reference' errors. tried even with 'emerge -e libkexiv2' - still no dice.

Could you please try rebuilding media-gfx/exiv2 explicitly?

already done that, didn't help.

Ah, this is probably the cause.

For whatever reason you have a libexiv2.so in /usr/local/lib which is probably broken.

that was the cause indeed. i completely missed the local/ part. sorry.
how it got there all the way back in 2009 is still a mystery...
