lo.net should parse conf.d/net for definitions of aliases, like net.eth? does. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Ah, net.lo. Anyways, also important is to be able to specify the netmask. We need an alias with 255.255.255.255 and not the default /24-netmask.
Roy: this should be easy shouldnt it ?
Sorry for the delay, but this bug just got onto my radar. baselayout-1.12.0 will allow for customising the lo interface via conf.d/net in terms of adding addresses and routes. At this point I'm unwilling to move the patch to 1.11.x
Looking for this fix as well. Any release time frame?
as Roy said, it's in baselayout-1.12.0+
I saw that. But was asking about the time frame went it might be released and unmasked. I guess it must be right around the corner now that the bug is marked resolved and fixed.
