The net-irc/irssi-xmpp doesn't have a maintainer currently, A pull request[1] I made to bump it to the latest versions, has already been accepted, and I was pointed to make a bug to be the proxy-maintainer for this package. I don't use the package, everyday, but certainly use it from time to time. I ran into the following problem, that made me realize this package was maintainer needed: This package was preventing the upgrade of net-libs/loudmouth, due to the ebuild for irssi-xmpp having: DEPEND="... >=net-libs/loudmouth-1.4.0[debug]", but the 'debug' USE flag was removed from the loudmouth ebuild(with no apparent reason for it, I checked upstream tree, and the code for --enable-debug is there), creating a dependency conflict, however "net-libs/loudmouth[debug]"(with 'debug') was not really required by irssi-xmpp(It should have never been), so I changed it to be only DEPEND=".. >=net-libs/loudmouth-1.4.0" for the irssi-xmpp-0.53 ebuild.
